75 or 80 years ago, my family rode from Manhattan to White River Junction, and changed there for the Boston and Maine line that ran north into the White Mountains. One route to Boston for the boys could have taken the Northern Railroad to Concord, NH and then south to Boston. I'm guessing you may have taken this east and then connected to a line that ran north. They could have gone south to Bellows Falls and then taken the Ch
