As the Park Steward at Pine Park, we have installed a bench on the riverbank that gives you a similar view of the current Ledyard Bridge but from the New Hampshire side. Take a walk on the River Trail and sit on our bench for the view down the river.
i like the colorization of the bridge but appreciate the the link to the b&w photo. too bad the view today has changed so much but things are always changing.

Probably nothing about the ferry, but maybe Rope Ferry Road in the early years?

I like them both...the black and white is moody and a little forbidding, and the color brings it to life and draws your eye to Lewiston
